Raste broj žrtava zemljotresa u Turskoj i Siriji. Prema najnovijim podacima, više od 6.300 ljudi je poginulo u razornom zemljotresu koji je pogodio Tursku i Siriju. Više od 30.000 ljudi je povređeno.
Urušeno je na hiljade objekata, među kojima i arheološki lokaliteti, tvrđava, džamija, putevi.
Iz regiona stižu strahoviti snimci i potresna svedočanstva preživelih, ali i ogromna bol za poginulim najbližima. Strahuje se da je pod ruševinama poginulo na hiljade dece. Očekuje se da će crne brojke dodatno porasti.
Za ovaj katastrofaln zemljotres koji je pogodio oblast Gazijantep se tvrdi da je oslobodio energiju jednaku eksploziji 130 atomskih bombi.
A tokom noći i jutros zabeleženi su i novi potresi – u centralnoj i istočnoj Turskoj.

Erdogan: Tromesečno vanredno stanje u 10 provincija
Predsednik Turske Redžep Tajip Erdogan proglasio je tromesečno vanredno stanje u 10 provincija koje su najviše pogođene razornim zemljotresom, nazivajući ih „zonom katastrofe“.
Istakao je da je cilj brže donošenje odluka.
„Odlučili smo da proglasimo vanredno stanje kako bismo osigurali da se operacije izvode brzo“, rekao je Erdogan u svom prvom televizijskom obraćanju nakon zemljotresa.
AMBASADOR: TELEFONSKI SMO SE ČULI SA VEĆINOM NAŠIH GRAĐANA
Nijedan građanin Srbije nije povređen usred najrazornijeg zemljotresa koji je pogodio Tursku, izjavio je danas ambasador Srbije u Turskoj Zoran Marković, prilikom video uključenja u emisiju „Uranak“.
„Pratili smo sve vreme situaciju, naši telefoni su otvoreni 24/7 sati dnevno, nismo za sada imali nijedan poziv da nas neko pita za nekoga ili obavesti o nekome, ništa ne ukazuje na to da je neko od naših građana povređen, rekao je Marković.
Dodao je da u Turskoj boravi privremeno 30 naših građana i svi su bezbedni kao i da su svakoga ponaosob kontaktirali ne bi li se uverili kako su svi u redu.
„Mi imamo stalnu vezu sa Ministarstvom unutrašnjih poslova Turske i pismeno smo im se obratili molbom da ukoliko imaju neka saznanja o našim građanima da nas odmah obaveste“ objasnio je ambasador Srbije u Ankari.
„U kontaktu smo i sa našim spasilačkim timovima kako bismo im pomogli tokom njihovog boravka u Turskoj“ objasnio je ambasador.
Najrazorniji zemljotres se dogodio juče oko pola pet po lokalnom vremenu u Kahramanmarašu, zatim druga dva koja su se desila malo pre podneva po lokalnom vremenu, jedan je imao epicentar u istom mestu kao i prvi, a drugi se osetio u Ankari.
Ambasador Srbije rekao je da se i jutros desio zemljotres, magnitude 5,7 stepeni po Rihteru, ali da je on znatno manje razoran tako da se svi u Turskoj nadaju smirivanju tla.
„Ja vidim da se ljudi ponašaju kao da će sve ovo uskoro stati. Vlasti daju naloge timovima za spasavanje i lokalnim organima vlasti da se sve kreće ka polakom smirivanju situacije i pokušavaju da povrate normal život“ rekao je Marković.

SEIZMOLOG: KATASTROFALNE POSLEDICE I ZBOG NEADEKVATNO SAGRAĐENIH OBJEKATA
Zemljotres u Turskoj imao je katastrofalne posledice zbog svoje velike snage, vremena kad se dogodio, ali najviše zbog neadekvatno sagrađenih objekata, rekla je seizmolog Slavica Radovanović.
Italijanski seizmolog: Zemljotres pomerio Tursku za tri metra
Predsednik italijanskog Nacionalnog instituta za geofiziku i vulkanologiju Karlo Doljoni rekao je da je pomeranje tektonskih ploča izazvalo zemljotres u Turskoj i pomerilo teritoriju te države za tri metra.
„Ono što zovemo arapska ploča, pomerila se za tri metra u smeru severoistok-jugozapad u odnosu na anadolsku ploču“, rekao je Doljoni, dodajući da je došlo do pomeranja za tri metra na dužini od oko 160 kilometara, preneo je „Dejli mejl“.
Veći deo Turske leži na anadolijskoj ploči, ali jugoistočna ploča prelazi preko arapske ploče, kod Sirije.
